At last! Someone else who realizes that a lot of the etsy artsy royal community is nakedly without talent. OK, so a few of the pieces could qualify as kitsch, but I’m afraid that’s rarely the intent. I know third- (no make that first-graders) who could copy this stuff. Crocheted fruit, friendship bracelets, artwork that might have been done by a chimp smokin’ banana peels… are these people for real? I’m heavy into fiber arts and jewelry, and lemmme tell ya, a lot of this crap can be turned out in ten minutes… so much for the illusion of time and effort. Good grief!!
